Did you know that the weatherization industry’s residential energy efficiency retrofit is among the fastest-growing segments of the green collar workforce?

It’s true! In response to this need, WorkNet Pinellas developed its Weatherization Training Center, a $1 million stimulus program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, to ramp-up training for weatherization installers, auditors and building analysts.

Contractors can expand their business by hiring skilled weatherization professionals directly at WorkNet’s on-site recruitment or by having their existing staff trained and certified in weatherization. Training scholarships are available for eligible individuals through a Grant funded by the Department of Energy.
